Teenagers aged 13, 14 and 15 may or may not be able to legally engage in sexual activity with partners who are less than 4 years older.Such partners could not be prosecuted under statutory rape laws, but may be liable for other offenses, even when the sexual activity is consensual. While the general age of consent is now set between 16 and 18 in all U. states, the age of consent has widely varied across the country in the past.
If you take the birthdays in consideration, they are less then 3 years apart, so is there anything protecting that relationship?
The age of consent in Pennsylvania is 16 years of age for statutory sexual assault and 18 years for corruption of minors.
She's not allowed to leave the house or anything, she goes to school then home, thats it, they wanted her to get a job and she got offered one at my workplace, and her parents wouldn't let her even though i work nights, just because i worked there! I'm not some dropout, completed highschool, i don't drink or do drugs, and i'm in college holding all b's I'm guessing it's not legal for her to move out at 17 in NY, (she wants to live with grandma, who loves me and i help her grandma every day) But, IMHO, is 17 and 20 that bad? For more extended advice, convince me this is genuine. She needs to be away from a father that's hitting 17 year olds.
I used to go to her highschool and everyone there is slutlike, 14year olds having sex, girls dating a different guy every week, stuff like that. There's absolutely no moral problem at all with a 2 year old doing anything at all with a 17 year old and I can't see anyone thinking otherwise.
Under Pennsylvania law, a defendant is strictly liable for the offense of rape, a felony of the first degree, when the complainant is 12 or younger. Except as provided in section 3121 (relating to rape), a person commits a felony of the second degree when that person engages in sexual intercourse with a complainant under the age of 16 years and that person is four or more years older than the complainant and the complainant and the person are not married to each other.
Pennsylvania has enacted several other strict liability sexual offenses when the complainant is under 16, but 13 years old or older. § 3125 Aggravated indecent assault (7) the complainant is less than 13 years of age; or (8) the complainant is less than 16 years of age and the person is four or more years older than the complainant and the complainant and the person are not married to each other. The 15 yr old male is in the foster system with DFCS in Cherokee County, Ga. The young lady is 18, but started dating him at the age of 17. They had sexual intercourse when she was 17 and he was 15.I am curious to what the laws in Georgia say about the stipulations on an 18 yr old dating a 15 year old.In the United States, age of consent laws regarding sexual activity are made at the state level. There are several federal statutes related to protecting minors from sexual predators, but laws regarding specific age requirements for sexual consent are left to individual states, territories, and the District of Columbia. The dad hates me, but he's kinda..imo, the mom doesnt hate me persay, just thinks i'm a cocky asshole because she tried to tell me i could be arrested, and that the age of consent was 18, when its 17, i showed her and she said i'm a cocky asshole -_-. She needs to be away from a father that's hitting 17 year olds.
