I have done everything that I could to get the game running again after 1.0.2.
Anyone else with the same problem, it worked fine to play, was just gonna restart the game and now i have't been able to log in for atleast 30 min, either i can install i new D3 coz it cant connect with the server for updates Properties Change it from ‘Disabled’ to ‘Automatic’Run your Diablo 3 setup as administrator and it should quickly go through Updating Setup Files and bring you to an install screen.

End the process "Agent.exe" should be near the top4. Anybody in their shoes would want to get paid to do their job. I had a very similar issue with battlefield 3's last update, but I still love it.

My launcher and game was working fine and then yesterday the launcher wouldn't get past 0% then said failed to update tools. If by chance it does get past it, it will not get past the connecting to server step. I was playing fine last night, and now it fails to update tools on the launcher.

Check the folder you downloaded your files into for any that say . Run the downloader in the same directly you chose originally and it should fix the files automatically and/or finish downloading.
We scoured the support forums for days, Googled, and had no luck until tonight. Choose Windows XP (Service Pack 3) (Note: Does not work on Vista.) Right Click the Icon, Run as Administrator. Delete your C:\Program Data\Blizzard Entertainment\Cache folder. Run the Downloader again, as administrator, and see if it gets past the “Updating Setup Files” window.
